Purpose
The Purpose of the Foundation is to support the core values and charitable purposes of the Methodist Retirement Communities (MRC) and its affiliated ministries. The foundation will do more than just fund raising and charitable care. It will promote strategic planning and visioning for new models of elder care, fulfilling the MRC vision.

Seed money will be used to develop new projects and services. The
Foundation will help MRC create an environment of sustainable funding
with the help and support of individuals choosing to be stakeholders in
a vital mission of helping the elderly.
Donation(s)
Partnership
New partnerships being formed by the Foundation include: universities, research institutes, state and federal government agencies, and other state and national organizations concerned about senior services. Some projects will require innovative financing and involve a mixture of funding resources. Collaboration will be the key to success in future projects.
Advocacy
Supporting and assisting MRC to bring the concerns and needs of seniors to the attention of the religious community, state and federal governments, civic organizations, and influential individuals will be one of the Foundation’s goals.
